Genesis Bumper
Emergence Church
An animation for a sermon series on Genesis and the life of Abraham. The brief was to take the audience through the story of Abraham while showing how faith inspires action. I went with an outlined style for the characters and painted backgrounds.
Buckets over Bullying Ads
JConnelly
I animated a series of ads to be displayed in a Las Vegas hotel during March Madness. The ads were for a charity aimed at eliminating cyberbullying. I create 2 different ads with the first ad being formatted for a handful of different displays. The second ad was a unique installation display globe in the lobby of the hotel. The spherical format provided some interesting opportunities, as well as challenges, to create an ad without boundaries and seamless motion.
Corinthians Bumper Animation
Emergence Church
An animation for a sermon series on Paul’s letter to the Corinthians. The visuals centered around stone columns as in Corinthian columns and the theme of the first part of the series was divisions within the church. This was symbolized by animating the columns collapsing.
Business Dog
A comic strip series expressing some of the frustrations and humor of the office workplace.
Safi and the Smashed Cake
A children’s book about dealing with emotions and empathizing with others. I wrote and illustrated the book using a clumsy yet lovable giraffe and the protagonist. The story is set in the Serengeti and follow Safi as he causes chaos at his friend’s birthday party, yet discovers he can use his own experiences to help others.
The Easy On! Luxe Sheers
Berkshire Hosiery
Bershire Hosiery wanted to take an already existing product line and extend it at a higher price point. The branding and visuals for the existing product line were used, reimagined for this elevated extension. While keeping the product line logo, the rest of the package design was completely rethought with a higher price point in mind. We chose black as the background color to both differentiate these products from our other products and to create a luxury feeling. We shot some fun, dynamic photos and added foil for the logo to complete the package.
La Cucina Restaurant Website
The restaurant wanted an update to their website in both look and functionality. They wanted the ability to more easily make changes and edits as prices increase and dishes change. I kept the local restaurant feel with the typeface Mrs. Eaves and kept a similar color palette as the previous website to maintain continuity. The menu section can filtered by dinner, lunch, and such and is easily maintained with a content management system. I carried the overall design into updated versions of the catering menu and party package brochure, as well.
Right Side Imports Branding
The client was looking to launch a unique car dealership specializing in import cars with the right-sided driving. I created a logo that reflects a classic mechanic look and feel while displaying the right-sided driving in the symbol. I created a whole branding package for the company, which included letterhead, business cards, font selections, and brand new website. The goal was to create a complete branding identity that they could then use to carve out unique niche for car enthusiasts and leave a consistent impression with each potential customer. After building the website, I included a branding booklet to be used to guide them with creating further graphics for their burgeoning business in the future.
It Fits. It Fits! Packaging
Berkshire Hosiery
Berkshire Hosiery was looking to break into the a new market with a line of leg wear products and the goal of this product was to create branding and packaging for the new line of products that would reach younger audiences at a lower price point. The company wanted this new line to be colorful and bolder to reach this new customer set. We used color and photography to categorize the products within the line. The whole line consisted of 24 different products across 4 different die lines.
